Ajay Kumar Sah, age 22 years, of Nepal, currently a Junior International Student studying at Drew University, Madison, NJ, was found on March 9, 2021 in Brooklyn, NY, having been missing since January 19, 2021. He was positively identified on May 3, 2021 and though this is the outcome no one wanted, it is with gratitude that Ajay can be laid to rest by his family and friends.

Due to current pandemic restrictions, access to the Chapel where the Funeral Puja will take place is restricted to immediate family and invited guests only. However, realizing that Ajay was such a beloved member of the Drew community, and had many friends all over the world, the services will be livestreamed and there will be an opportunity to pay respects to his casket prior to the service according to the schedule below:

Monday, May 10, 2021, 9:15-9:30 a.m. at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Crematory, 95 Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920: prior to Ajay’s body being brought into the Chapel where the services will occur, those who wish may pay their respects to his casket at the hearse. You may bring a single flower to place on his casket if you wish. 

Monday, May 10, 2021, 9:30-11:00 a.m.: The Funeral Puja for Ajay will take place inside the Chapel at Somerset Hills Crematory. This service will be live-streamed and those who may not enter the Chapel due to pandemic restrictions are welcome to wait outside on the cemetery grounds as a united community during this time. Please note you will have to bring your own device to watch the livestream as we may not set up a screen outside. Additionally, please do not congregate in large groups and kindly obey all pandemic measures.

It is important to remember that given the current state of the pandemic, masks must be worn at all times on cemetery grounds and social distancing must be maintained. Please follow the instructions of the Wright & Ford Care Team Family Ambassadors upon arrival with regards to parking. Kindly remember that others will be visiting the cemetery for their loved ones, so please drive slowly and safely.
