Alex Michael Esarco, age 67 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Ohio on June 25, 1952, he had lived in Raritan Township for the past fourteen years, having previously lived in Branchburg, NJ and in Ohio.
An avid sports fanatic, Alex was a master of sports trivia. He was a mega fan of the New York Yankees and the Pittsburg Steelers.
With a good heart, he will be remembered most for always putting his kids first in any situation. There was not a thing he would not do for them, or his family. Smart and generous, his kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
In addition to his father, Alex Esarco, Alex was preceded in death by a sister, Christine, killed by a drunk driver many years ago. This led to Alex’s involvement with MADD over the years, and through them he helped many people.
Surviving are his beloved children, Alex Richard Esarco, Nicholas Pierce Esarco, Max Steven Esarco, and Sophie Deborah Esarco; his wife, Laurie Greenfield Esarco; his mother, Ann Esarco; his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Steve Myers; his adored cats, Alice and Toonces; several extended family; and many dear friends.
