Alice Marie Besiack, née Catherino, passed away peacefully, on January 22, 2025 at 85 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she raised her children in Elm, PA and lived her retirement in Orlando, FL and Grand Junction, CO. Alice was a great storyteller who loved to share her life adventures as a medical billing’s specialist, owner of ABC Engraving, roller skating mom, co-owner of The Skate Bug and volunteer at the Center for Independence. She was such a vibrant and charismatic person who will be missed by all her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Besiack and nephew, John Catherino.
She is survived by her daughters; Mary Alice Nathan (Scott), Bobbie Friedhoff (Michael), Carla Martin (Greg); grandchildren, Benjamin Nathan, Bryce Nathan, Julia Friedhoff, Erica Friedhoff, and Justin Friedhoff; brother, Henry Alves Catherino (Beatrice); their children, Dolores Catherino (Candy), William Catherino (Allison), Melanie Swords, Janet Swords (Scott); and all their children.
Alice did not want a memorial service, she simply would like her friends and family to live well and enjoy their lives remembering her in their hearts.
