Alisia Stewart (Fuhrman), 41, of Whitehouse Station, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
She was born on July 23, 1980 in Hershey, PA and was the daughter of Carol Geist and the late Charles Breaithwaite.
Alisia attended Shamokin High School in Pennsylvania. After moving to NJ, Alisia had various jobs including working for the ARC of Hunterdon and Quick Chek. She was always happiest when she was helping others. She often mentioned that the best time in her life was when she was involved with Evangel Chapel in Clinton, NJ helping with church outreach programs and many other charities. Alisia had a huge heart, and even in passing she chose to share that heart as an organ donor so that someone else would have the chance to live through her gift of life.
Alisia will always be remembered for her loud, outgoing and vibrant personality, and the ability to make any situation fun. Her two greatest joys in life were her sons, CJ and Warren, and she was most proud of the wonderful young men they are becoming. Growing up she was greatly influenced and loved by her maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Warren Fuhrman who helped raise her for years. She was also raised and loved by her mother, Carol and stepfather, Robert Geist.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher “CJ” Petrone, Jr. and Warren Fuhrman; her husband, David Stewart; her mother, Carol Geist; her sisters, Ashley Bower and Tracie Force; her brother, Jesse Geist; her Uncle, “Butch” Warren Fuhrman; mother-in-law, Margaret Stewart; sister-in-law, Amy Hastings; brother-in-law, Peter Stewart; nieces and nephews; and many friends and extended family who loved her greatly.
Many thanks to all those who helped Alisia through the years including Aunt Colleen Giles-Good and Tosha Rutledge.
A private ceremony will be held with family at a later date and under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
