I just found out about Andy’s passing. I was his garbage man. He would came to talk to me and gave me vegetables. I was wandering why I didn’t see him lately. A true friend and will be deeply missed. Rest In Peace

I have just learned of Andy's passing. Andy called into the vegetable seed company I work at and we soon became friends and would exchange cards and letters throughout the years. I loved hearing him talk about his great love Adele and will never forget his kindness and wonderful stories. I am so sorry for everyone who is feeling the loss of this wonderful man. But I am so happy he can now be Adele.

I had the pleasure of meeting Uncle Andy while working at HMC. After that he would stop in our suite with boxes of chocolates, vegetables or just cracking jokes. Your kindness was appreciated always! Thank you for your friendship. Rest in eternal memory ✝️?

It was a great honor to be a witness to his giving love to my children and grandchildren, and know "Uncle Andy" loved them as much as I do. He always just appeared...arms full of gifts of fresh vegetables and sweets. But the bigger gift was his open heart to want to please, nourish the body and soul with his wisdom, and his truth to himself that shone through. He had his own way of doing things, and someone was always the recipient of them. May God continue to bless him as he shares that special place in heaven with his beloved Adele, "my bride," as he also referred to her when speaking to me. May we all learn from Andy Nemes how to simply be true to ourselves, and how to honestly give to others, whether it be time, food, or talk.

Andy was a one of a kind and we were lucky enough to be a neighbor and a friend. He always had a kind word, a smile, and a bag of vegetables for you! He never asked for anything in return but always enjoyed a home cooked meal and for you to give him the biggest gift of all and that was time. A friendly conversation was so important to Andy. He missed Adel as she was his best friend and his soul mate. Andy also enjoyed all dogs and our dog Sky was very lucky because Andy never forgot him there were always treats in Andy’s truck just in case he saw me walking on the road. We will miss Andy but we are happy that when it was time that Andy did not suffer for long. Rest In Peace and I am sure you have been reunited with your true love. ❤️

I only met Andy a few months ago but it was obvious from our first hello he was a beautiful person inside and out. He would drive along side me during my walks sharing his life stories and only had great things to say about everyone he knew. I’m sure he is happy to be with Adele as he missed her dearly. He loved to share his vegetables with his friends and was always looking out for everyone he knew. Although we only knew each other for a few months, I’m proud that I could call him my friend. I will miss our talks and everything about him. RIP Andy.
