Audrey Melodie Zoschak, a/k/a AnnaMae, age 25, passed away on July 28, 2020, in Portland, Oregon.
She is survived by her parents, Jennifer Zoschak Beckelman and Rob Beckelman; her beloved sister and best friend, Addison Mae Zoschak; her maternal grandparents, Dwaine Fry Sutherland and Lou and Babette Marcello; her half-siblings, Nicole Tyburski and Tommy Zoschak; and her father, Thomas K. Zoschak. Audrey also leaves behind her dear girlfriends, Ruby Trippett and Ashley Espinoza, with whom she spent the best year of her life in Portland.
Audrey was an avid streamer on Twitch.tv and an outspoken political activist, who called out injustice whenever and wherever she encountered it. She was a truly compassionate person who hoped that we could do better in the way we treated each other and worked tirelessly to educate those around her.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Triad House ( a Mercer County home for displaced LGBTQ youth at www.lifeties.org); Black Lives Matter – Campaign Zero (working to end police brutality through education, interactions and accountability www.blacklivesmatter.carrd.co/ ); or Joe “Bean” Keller’s campaign to raise funds for the August 28th March on Washington (writer “Before There Was Trayvon”) .
The family will be welcoming guests to say goodbye to Audrey on August 15, 2020 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at an outdoor venue.
