I met Chris after his marriage to Tammy, his lovely wife. I met her about 40 years ago while she was caring for horses at one of my client's properties. I was so happy to see her married to Chris who became a dear friend and customer. Chris was always a pleasure to visit and chat with about sports, life, friends or anything. Of course, as we all knew, you really couldn't shut him up! That only endeared him more to me since I knew he was sincere and caring about the subjects being discussed. I will miss him and his yearly calls to my office to wish all of us a merry Christmas (he never forgot) and well wishes. God bless Chris, Tammy and his family. RIP my friend. Much love to Tammy Lou Spanner and all of us at Spanner Tree
