Christy Leigh Campbell, age 42 years, of Ewing Township, NJ, died suddenly on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Helene Fuld Trauma Center, Trenton, NJ as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born in Parkersburg, WV on August 13, 1975 to Theresa Lynn Cornell Lhota of Latrobe, PA and Max L. Campbell of Belpre, OH, Christy had lived in Ewing for the past ten years, having formerly lived in Ringoes, Princeton, and Flemington, NJ.
A 1993 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Christy was, simply put, a beautiful soul.
She was a hard worker who was adored by anyone who she came into contact with. Having many devoted friends, Christy was the one who would do anything for her family and friends, and vice-versa.
Articulate in all her endeavors, Christy may have left this world too soon, but will certainly remain as a Guardian Angel for all who need her smile and advice. Death may end a physical life, but never does it end a relationship.
Surviving are her mother and step-father, Theresa and Daniel Lhota; her father and step-mother, Max L. and Carolyn Campbell; her siblings, Daniel and his wife, Lori Lhota, Brittany Lhota, Caitlin Campbell and her fiancé, Matthew Kelly, Anna Campbell and her fiancé, Tyler Riddle; her maternal grandparents, Shirley and Charles Greiner; her soon to be niece or nephew due in December; several extended family members; and many cherished friends.
A celebration of Christy’s life will take place on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
Christy will lie in repose on Thursday from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home and all are invited to share loving memories about this kind and gentle soul.
Burial will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
