Deborah Lee Taylor, age 64 years, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, died on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center-Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre PA.
Born on July 13, 1957 in Keyport, NJ, Deborah lived her early years at the Jersey Shore, prior to moving to Mendham, NJ for her teenage years. She had formerly lived in Chester and Budd Lake, NJ prior to moving to Dingmans Ferry in 1996.
Graduating Mendham High School in 1975, Deborah had a flair for design and achieved her certificate in interior design. She worked for many years in set design as well as commercial photography before taking a job with Home Depot in Roxbury and Newton, NJ, where she was in charge of custom flooring and other home designs.
With a jolly personality, Deborah was kind soul and compassion was at the core of who she was as a person. Family was her world, and though she did not have much in the way of material possessions, she had all she ever wanted in family and would do anything for them, often times going without just to see others smile.
An accomplished seamstress, she made all her own clothes and also greatly enjoyed antiquing, gardening, and tending to her yard.
Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Leo Muro, a brother, Mark Muro and a brother-in-law, Don Squier.
Surviving are her children, Jennifer Quail and her husband, Greg, David Taylor and his fiancé, Sandra Vega, and Megan and her husband, Chad Quigley; her grandchildren, Maddey, Charlotte, Brennan, Avery, Emilia, Everett, Emma, and Collin; her mother, Barbara Muro; her siblings, Linda Muro, Kathy Squier, Maureen Lamberto and her husband, Joe, Leo Muro, and Michael Monahan and his wife, Pam; her former spouse, David Austin; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family; and many dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 6:30-7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
After the gathering, there will be a Life Celebration service at 7:00 p.m. to which all are welcome.

Interment will be private.
