Edith LaVerne Weidner, age 95 years, of Hillsborough, NJ, died on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Bridgeway Care Center, Hillsborough, NJ.
Edith La Verne Weidner was born on April 2, 1926 in Irvington, NJ. She married LeRoy (Buddy) Weidner in 1945 and they raised their two children in Irvington.
Edith enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time at the shore with her family. She was an active member of the Irvington Methodist Church and Women’s Club.
After raising her children, Edith worked as a billing clerk at Overlook Hospital in Summit. She later retired to Manahawkin, NJ where she was a member of the Ocean Community Church. She volunteered at her community pool where she spent time with her friends.
She is predeceased by her husband of thirty-eight years, LeRoy, her brother, Robert Meldrum, her sister, Marietta Cerrachio and her beloved son, Lawrence Weidner.
Surviving are her daughter and husband, Susan and Wayne Ingram of Flemington, her grandson and his wife, Wayne and Katelin Ingram and great grandchildren Kiera and Nolan.
Full arrangements will be announced under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
