Elizabeth J. Spuhler, age 91 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the Hunterdon Care Center.

Born on June 25, 1930, in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Francis and Lucy Burke Brennan, Betty lived in Marlton, Hillsborough, Flemington and Cherry Hill, NJ.

Fun loving, true and witty, Betty would say, “Live as well as you can, for as long as you can, with the best people you can find.” She loved spending time with her friends, family, and grandchildren. Betty had a precious gift of making friends whenever she went.

Visiting the beach, watching the Mummer’s Parade on New Year’s Day and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, or anything Irish, are just a few things which Betty enjoyed.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Harry; a son, Brian; and a brother Francis.

Surviving are her daughter, Christine Gomberg and her husband, David; two grandsons, Steven and Aaron Gomberg; and many dear friends.

Cremation is private at Ewing Crematory, Ewing Township, NJ, under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ 08822.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Friday, May 27, 2022, at Holy Eucharist Catholic Church, 344 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034, and to which all are welcome.

Immediately following the mass, burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, 23988 West Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ.
