Bill and Anne Marie Kelly left a message on March 6, 2023:
To Jo Ann and the Lewandowski Family, Please accept our sympathy and condolences for Gene's passing. We had the good fortune to know him through daily Mass at St Magdalen DePazzi Parish. Plus, Bill had the unique honor to serve many of the daily and funeral Masses with him for a few years. We especially liked serving in the Chapel during the renovations of the Church. He was a master at handling the incense. He always had big smile for us and was a much loved and respected parishioner. We considered him a great friend and will miss him. May he rest in peace and may your family continue to feel the richness and blessings that he brought for so many years.

So very sad to hear about Gene I worked with Gene side by side in the shop for several years before moving into the office Our friendship continued through out the years as our paths continued to cross while I moved on in management while Gene became one of my loyal supervisors on the shop floor So to Joanne and the family our prayers are for Gene and with you all With only GOOD MEMORIES Michael and Millie Baldasare

To my dear Aunt JoAnn, my cousins Ellen, Mark and Karen, and your respective family members, my heartfelt condolences for your loss.?❤️ Uncle Gene was a really great uncle, as was he a great husband, brother in-law, father, grandfather, and so forth. He was so full of life and so much fun to be around. All the games at family party's he would actively participate in. There was no quit in Uncle Gene and we see he passed that wonderful trait along to his son Mark. Uncle Gene had a great sense of humor as well. Boy was he funny!? I have nothing but the utmost respect and love for Uncle Gene. He treated me so very well whenever I saw him. From when I was a little kid visiting on my bike to all the family gatherings. Even that one time when I was little and we visited the Colby farm. I am so saddened and have shed a lot of tears writing this. But I also have very wonderful memories of him to remember. I loved him and I love all of you more than you know.? You are all in my heart and prayers and if you ever want to talk please reach out on FB or call 908-468-3057. Love always, Scott ❤️
