I grew up on the same street as Frank, his father stood up for me at the age of 13 in my Catholic confirmation. He was the state champion in the hurdles in track for 2 years. He will be missed. Rest In Peace, my friend.

I first met Frank, when I joined the staff at the Bridgewater Middle School. Back then, we both taught Industrial Technology. Frank was experienced in dealing with the students' population and so I relied on his expertise to guide me along. Frank helped me get acquainted with both students and staff. Hè had the respect of the students and teachers alike. His experience with the students helped me transition from a new teacher to one who easily wins respect and someone who they listened to. Frank was instrumental in helping me get a good start understanding how these students responded to a new authoritative figure. The students referred to him as Santa, which did not faze him. His beard was his signature look. He wore it proudly. Frank and I spoke frequently about our role and our responsibilities to students. We had to keep students motivated and earn their respect. There was also a funny side to Frank. He related an incident in which a parent called to complain about the low grade his son got in his class. Frank said he listened intently to the parent concerns and calmly told the parent if there was a lower grade he would give it to him. Frank was able to navigate the teacher, parent situation with his serious but fun side. I wish to send my profound and sincere condolences to Frank's family and his many friends. May his soul rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. We got to be friends at BRMS & actually bonded over music. He made me a number of folk music CDs & we used to sit in the lunchroom & critique them. I saw him back in the fall at another former teacher colleague's remembrance celebration. I will miss his annual Xmas cards & big warm presence. Rest in peace, Frank. With love, your friend, Kim.

I had the privilege of working with Frank for many years at BRMS. He was the first person that hundreds of students and staff saw first thing every morning as he coordinated the arrival of all school buses. Always in his bright yellow jacket!! He greeted everyone with a big hello and a warm smile - even at 7am. I am so grateful to have reconnected with him this past October at the school and thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. Rest in peace, Frank. Nancy and John

My most sincere condolences to the family of Frank Guinane. I had been speaking with Frank for a few years as his Aetna nurse case manager. He was always kind, thoughtful and polite. We had many engaging discussions over the years. He remained positive about his health, even in the midst of pretty tough challenges. May he rest with the righteous, and his family find comfort and peace. Memory Eternal! Terry Kaminsky BSN, RN, CCM Aetna
