Frank Louis DiDonna, age 68 years, of Ringwood, NJ, died suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Chilton Hospital, Pequannock Township, NJ.
Born in Paterson, NJ, October 15, 1953, son of the late Thomas James and Angela Lacherza DiDonna, Frankie had lived in Ringwood with his devoted younger sister, Michele, for the past twenty years.
Growing up in Paterson, Frankie was a caring and funny individual whose “Frankieisms” were legendary among his family and friends. Loving many different genres of music and being an avid New York Mets and New York Jets fan, Frankie will be mostly remembered for the bond he shared with his mother, Angela. The two were inseparable and cared for one another with a true mother and son bond right up until her passing.
Surviving are his sister and her longtime partner, Michele Sciuto and Robert Kozarek; his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Karen DiDonna; his nieces and nephews, Angela and Miguel Classen, Kimberly and Luis Matteis, and Kristina and her fiancé, CrisJon Moreno; his great nieces and great nephews, Destiny, Esael, Isabella, Lucas, and Gianna; several extended family members; and many friends.
Graveside life celebration services officiated by Certified Life Celebrant D.J. Wright will take place on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Road, Totowa, NJ 07512 under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Everyone is kindly asked to meet at the main office of the cemetery on Monday at 10:45 a.m.; please do not go directly to the gravesite as we will all proceed together in procession.
