Gerald Ernest D’Emilio, age 81 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2022, at home, surrounded by his cherished family and under the caring watch of Hunterdon Hospice.

Cremation at Ewing Crematory, Ewing Township, NJ, was private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ 08822.

My heart aches, but I know you have reached the place that you wanted to be at. You are with Aunt Sue. Your head is on her shoulders. The memory of those pictures will be always be etched in my mind. It was adoring. It was so sweet to see you that way. Say Hi and give Nana, Mom, Barbara and Denise a hug and kiss for me. XXOO

My deepest sympathy to Gerry's family. Gerry worked for me when I started working for Johanna Foods as the Partsroom Supervisor. Gerry was a dependable employee and a very nice person. I was both happy and sad when he told me he was retiring. I was sad to lose a great employee but happy Gerry was going to be able to enjoy the rest of his life doing what he wanted to do. Again, my deepest sympathy to Gerry's family.

Jenny and Jerry, I am sending my condolences and my love to you both. I have many fond memories of your mom and dad from when we were little. What an amazing plot of land where he choose to raise you guys. To think that he got to watch you restore the barn to its glory makes me so happy. Above all, you were able to give your dad his final years at home, just as he wished. Now he is with your mom and again. I love you both.
