Born on January 17,1940, in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Harold and Grace R. Miller. Harold attended Plainfield High School and earned his Bachelors Degree in Business from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
After graduating college, Harold joined his father in the family business. He spent the next five decades serving as President of Miller Energy Inc, a manufacturers’ representative and distributor of process instrumentation, controls and automation equipment located in South Plainfield, New Jersey.
Outside of his career, Harold found joy in his family. Married to his wife, Alice B Cainelli on June 26, 1974, they spent nearly 50 years together raising a family in Milford NJ. Harold was a devoted husband and father to his two sons Chip and James. His hobby was his business but he also enjoyed sailing and making memories with his family particularly at the beach in Lavallette, New Jersey.
Harold’s dedication to family and business was an inspiration. Always the consummate gentleman, he valued courage and strength of character above all else. His kindness and generosity touched so many throughout his life. May his soul find eternal rest, and may we continue to be inspired by the light he shared with us all.
