James “Jimmy” Kevin Glennon, a beloved husband to Veronica (Campbell) and loving father to Ashley Veronica (Dockray) passed away at the age of 67 on April 25, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living life to the fullest.
He was born in Rockville Center, New York to Ruth (Booth), who predeceased him, and James Glennon. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, papa, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He was a graduate of Ward Melville High School (1976) on Long Island, New York and the State University of New York Empire State College (1983) in New York, New York. He was also a retired member of the IBEW Local #3 electrical union.
The simplest pleasures in life gave him his biggest joy. Jimmy loved quiet evenings surrounded by loved ones with an ice cold Bud. He was an avid fisherman, loved classic cars, especially his 1985 Corvette, and was a life-long devoted New York Yankees and Giants fan.
His biggest joy in life was his marriage to Veronica of 42 years, his daughter, Ashley, son-in-law, Chris and becoming a proud Papa to his two wonderful grandchildren, Wyatt (4) and Aurora (2). Though his time was short with them, his memory and love will live with them forever.
