Mrs. Dilley, you were one of the best teachers I ever had! You made an impact on my life at such a young that I will never forget those lessons you taught me in 4th grade. You made learning fun with Smelly Sticker Rewards and Friday Donut Treats. I will also remember your kisses leaving a red lipstick mark on a shy kid’s cheek! Thinking back on these memories made me smile! As my son is now in 3rd grade, I wish more teachers were so caring and loving like you. You will be deeply missed. Your favorite 4th grade student, Robin

If you grew up around here and attended Robert Hunter School as a kid you'd never forget Mrs. Dilley. As a teacher, you'd think she was a tough, no-nonsense type, but in fact, she was one of the kindest people anywhere. My mother ran a camp (Camp Isabel) for handicapped, special needs and underprivileged kids out in Kingwood. The camp was run free of charge and attended by kids from all over Hunterdon. Mr. and Mrs. Dilley's "West Hunterdon Transit" picked these kids up and brought them home every weekday in the summer. Without their support, Camp Isabel could never have thrived the way it did for so many years. She was a special lady...

Jeanette was a very kind and compassionate woman. I managed Perkins in Flemington for 14 years. Jeanette and John were regular guests. She was always doing things to help others and her kindness was infectious. Every day she came in she would ask for me and make sure she saw me to say hello and see how I was. I have not worked there in over five years, but I still remember what a wonderful woman she was. My thoughts are with all of you.

Mrs. Dilley was my first-grade teacher back in 1974, and being in her classroom was pure joy. She delighted in seeing us learn and celebrated every accomplishment with kindess, praise, and that beautiful smile. She was an angel on earth, so her transition to heaven was probably an easy one. To think of the difference she made in so many lives - her influence will live on forever. Condolences to her family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her. Much love to you, Mrs. Dilley! Thank you for everything you taught those of us lucky enough to have you!
