Joseph Solano, age 90 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died peacefully on Monday, April 12, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

A complete life legacy will be forthcoming.

Cremation at the Chapel of Ewing Crematory, Ewing Township, NJ, was private under the direct supervision of the Wright & Ford Funeral Director Team.

My deepest sympathies on behalf of our entire, extended family. When Joe’s grandson, John married my youngest daughter, Sara, in September 2013, we were lucky enough to enfold Joe into our lives. Into our family. It has occurred to me that in my heart he is the older brother I never had. His gentle manner & ever present smile brightened up my world, our world. I am the oldest of 5 siblings & I wish I could have been the second oldest to Joe all my life & not had to wait until 2013 to meet & begin to get to know him. Rest In Peace, Joe, I will remember you, brother.

My deepest condolences to my cousins and their families. He will be missed. He was a special kind of person,who always showed his love for family .

I still have the pic of Frank, Joe, Pat and Me at the beach in Kingsburg when we were just kids. A fond memory of our family growing up in Kearny. Great times. Chistmas at Uncle Tony's and Aunt Mary's.
