My deepest sympathies on behalf of our entire, extended family. When Joe’s grandson, John married my youngest daughter, Sara, in September 2013, we were lucky enough to enfold Joe into our lives. Into our family. It has occurred to me that in my heart he is the older brother I never had. His gentle manner & ever present smile brightened up my world, our world. I am the oldest of 5 siblings & I wish I could have been the second oldest to Joe all my life & not had to wait until 2013 to meet & begin to get to know him. Rest In Peace, Joe, I will remember you, brother.

I still have the pic of Frank, Joe, Pat and Me at the beach in Kingsburg when we were just kids. A fond memory of our family growing up in Kearny. Great times. Chistmas at Uncle Tony's and Aunt Mary's.

We are both so saddened by the news of our Uncle Joey. He was such a link to the past and we enjoyed all the stories. He was so insightful and intelligent— a real Solano. I will miss our talks and know you all will miss him. Our hearts go out to you all. With heartfelt sympathy, Toni and Mary Ann
