Keith was my BFF while we were growing up. I was raised at St. Michael's Home and would spend the weekends at their apartment on 14st. ave A. Helen (his Mom) would make the best perioges as they were very proud of their polish culture. Myself and Keith were like brothers from another Mother. Mr.&Mrs.Schemick had a family that had a fish market. Fred's Fish market would be where we would help scaling the fish and Fred aka Uncle Freddy would allow me to have Blue Crabs that he knew we Puerto Rican's ate. Keith's cousin Rita was also a young lady who we would hang with. I believe if my mind serves me right was goo goo gaga over Rita. I lost track of Keith for about 30 years when we saw each other he in the Air Force I in the US. Army out in San Antonio Texas, as I was stationed there. I then lost track of him until I googled his name in 2017 and we spoke for many hours. Keith and I were New York Rangers fan and played hockey together in the MJHA. He scored his only goal on me. I am was floored when I dialed his name on my phone to find that the cel had been disconnected and he had passed. Keith my prayers for you mother Helen, and papa Joe. You will be with the family in Heaven with Helen making the Perioges and having fun. If any family member knows of Rita and whereabouts please feel free to share my email. Descanza En Paz Amigo, Que Dios Te Bendiga.

You accepted me as your own daughter from 3mos old and I accepted you as my dad. Thank you for raising me and being you. We may have argued, fought, laughed, cried but I do not regret standing by your side through the hardest last couple months you have had to go through every step of the way...I love you with all my heart and always will. I promise! Love always, your daughter.
