




Kerry-Jo Linda McGinnity, age 55 years, of Frenchtown, NJ, died at her home on Friday, June 20, 2025.
Graduating Magna Cum Laude with High Honors in Art History in 1993 from Rutgers University-Douglass College, New Brunswick, NJ, Kerry-Jo went on to attain her MA in Museum Professions in 2002 from Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ.
Most recently, Kerry-Jo was the Manager of the Getting Together Social & Wellness Center of Hunterdon Healthcare from 2017 until 2023. Prior to that she had been employed at the Grounds for Sculpture, Hamilton, NJ, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, NY. Her time at MOMA allowed her to travel all over the world, meet famous people, and combine her love of fashion and art.
Her travels took her to India, where she was honored to meet Mother Teresa and members of her religious order which surely influenced Kerry to always try and help others.
A fierce supporter of Frenchtown and its local businesses, many will remember Kerry playing with the children at Frenchtown Commons where she always had gifts for each of them.
She is survived by her brother, TJ, by her beloved animals, Xander and Blueberry who she loved like children, and a host of friends made as she traveled life’s winding path. Additionally, she was surely reunited at the rainbow bridge with her faithful canine companion, Dandelion.
