Linda Boski, age 77 years, of Brick, NJ, died peacefully at home on Friday, April 25, 2025, with her devoted husband, Victor, by her side.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, Linda was raised in Iselin, where her large, devoted family built the foundation of a life defined by love, generosity, and service. She married the love of her life, Victor Boski, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Together, they raised two daughters, who, along with their families, were the center of Linda’s world.
Family was everything to Linda. She found her greatest joy in preparing large meals for her family, hosting unforgettable holiday gatherings, and celebrating life’s milestones with enthusiasm and grace. She found joy in shopping for loved ones, always finding the perfect gift or treat, and was happiest when her home was full of laughter, warmth, and the aroma of something delicious from her kitchen.
Linda was not only a matriarch in her own family but also a leader in her community. She proudly served as a Girl Scout leader and youth group mentor, giving her time and heart to generations of young people. Her dedication extended to the Tewksbury Women’s Club, where she was an active member and even served as president. Her leadership and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Not one to be left behind, Linda loved to travel—especially when it meant sharing new adventures with her family. Whether exploring faraway places or simply enjoying a weekend at the Jersey Shore with her family and friends, she treasured every moment together. She also enjoyed the occasional visit to the casino, where her luck with slot machines was the stuff of family legend.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Victor Boski; her two loving daughters, Lori Boski and Tara Glosenger (Scott); her seven adoring grandchildren, Courtney (Andrew), Heather (Lance), Zack (Vy), Jeffrey (Sarah), Noah, Lindsay and Lily; her two precious great-granddaughters, May and Willa; her siblings, George (Ellen) O’Brien, Patricia Lordi, Kathleen Sagers, John (Brenda) O’Brien, Nancy Pittenger, and Harold (Judy) O’Brien; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Paula Boski, Katherine Maccutcheon, and Barbara (Michael) Kelly; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and several extended family members; and many dear friends.
In addition to her parents, George and Lillian Hadder O’Brien, Linda was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law, James Lordi, Michael Boski, and Thomas Boski.
Though her time on earth was too short, Linda’s legacy of love, laughter, and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her as she was the heart of their home, the keeper of traditions, and the source of endless encouragement. Her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, and she will be missed beyond measure.
