Louis Paul Hosta, age 66 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2020 at home, surrounded by his loving family and under the caring watch of Hunterdon Hospice.
Born and raised in Painesville, OH, son of the late Louis John and Cecilia Jasik Hosta, Louis moved to Raritan Township, NJ in 1990.
A Forensic Scientist for the New Jersey State Police, Hamilton, NJ, he earned his degree in Botany from the University of Montana.
Surviving are a daughter, Shelley Hosta and Anthony; two sons, Ethan and Caleb Hosta; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Kelli Hosta; a sister, Cheryl Hosta; two grandchildren, Aurora and Anthony; several nieces, nephews, and extended family; and many dear friends.
Life celebration services followed by the cremation at the Chapel of Ewing Crematory, Ewing Township, NJ, were private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ 08822.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He was such a good friend and coworker. I have been working with him for many years but about last eight years we seat next to each other. I always share my spicy indian foods, which he loves. My wife never meet him but whenever I tell my wife to make some extra foods that I want to bring It to work so she knew that it is for Lou and make it spicy which I can not even eat. He was indeed a great fighter regarding his health issues. You will be missed forever. You are not physically present with us but remain forever in our ♥️
