Marie Margaret Skibinski, age 91 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died peacefully on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Hunterdon Care Center.
Born on December 18, 1930, in Scranton, PA, daughter of the late Alfred and Anna Weller Sporer, she raised her family in Piscataway, NJ, moving later to Lake Worth, FL, with her husband until 2010. When her loving husband died in 2010, Marie returned to Flemington, NJ, to live with her daughter.
Marie worked as a waitress for over twenty years at Chanticler Chateau in Warren, NJ. She was very proud and enjoyed her days serving and meeting new people.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Skibinski, Sr., in 2010.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Kristian Toft; her sons, Paul Skibinski, Jr., Glynn Skibinski and his wife, Renee, Mark Skibinski, and Keith Skibinski; five grandchildren, Carly, Jack, Alexis, Kendra, and Stacy; two great grandchildren; and many dear friends.
Cremation was private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2020 at the St. Paul of the Cross Parish, 1221 Prospect Avenue, Scranton, PA 18505, at 9:30am, to which all are welcome.
Immediately following the mass will be the burial in a family plot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Davis St, Scranton, PA 18505, PA, and all are welcome to attend.
