Mary E. Wilson, age 93, of Sebastian, FL, and former longtime Hunterdon County, NJ resident, died peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Sebastian, FL, surrounded by her loving daughters.
Born on September 2, 1929, in Somerville, NJ, daughter of the late Harold and Mary Eick.
Mary was a 1947 graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ.
It was in high school where Mary would meet her partner in life, John “Jack” Wilson, married for 69 years. Their union would give them the joys of their life, daughters Kathi, Jacki, and Heidi.
Devoted to her family, Mary was quiet and unassuming but nevertheless was truly a matriarch. After raising three daughters, she was blessed with three grandsons, John, James, and Jeffrey, and loved seeing the next generation grow into their own and she certainly enjoyed being a “Great Grammie” seven times.
In addition to being there for her family, Mary enjoyed playing cards, reading, playing Bingo, and doing a daily crossword puzzle.
Her daily evening prayers for the health, safety, and happiness of her family and friends, as well as peace in the world, is the legacy of this loving Wife, Mother, Grammie, Great Grammie, and Best Friend.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her sister (Doris Scholz) and her husband (Jack).
Mary is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathi Wilson Pschar and Greg Pschar (Sebastian, FL); Jacquelyn and William Haack (Pembroke Pines, FL); and Heidi and Michael Runnels (New Caney, TX); three grandsons, John and his wife, Dawn Gurski, James and his wife, Jamie Gurski, and Jeffrey and his wife, Brittney Gurski; seven great-grandchildren, Cody, Tyler, James, Bailey, Aubrey, Jaxson, and Kaiden; several extended family members; and dear friends.
Mary will lie in repose on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to Noon in the Chapel of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
Life Celebration services will immediately follow the gathering beginning at Noon at to which all are welcome.
Mary will then be laid to rest at the Union Cemetery, Lebanon, NJ.
