Mildred Malchen Daniel, age 84 years, of Yardley, PA, died peacefully at The Remington of Yardley, Yardley, PA, on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
Mildred was a remarkable woman whose strength, resilience, and devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She was born and lived in New York City until she met the love of her life. She then moved to Three Bridges, NJ, on the Daniel Dairy Farm.
Mildred was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Daniel; her mother, Ilsa; and her father, Irving.
She is survived by her son, Alan Daniel (Alissa); daughter, Felicia (Don); son, Gregory (Lee); and brother, Leon Straus (Sharon). She also leaves to cherish her memory six adored grandchildren: Athena, Stephanie, Shayna, Carly, Benjamin, and Straus.
A dedicated and loving mother, Mildred was known for her unwavering commitment to her family. She would do anything for her children and grandchildren, always putting them first.
Professionally, Mildred was a highly valued employee in various roles. She began her career working for a prominent judge and lawyer in Flemington, NJ, John Weinhofer, where her diligence and intelligence earned her respect and admiration. She later continued her professional journey with Hoechst Celanese, a German company, where her ability to speak the language made her a treasured member of the team.
Outside of work, Mildred enjoyed a full life with many interests and passions. She loved playing golf in Florida, bowling and spending time visiting her children, and enjoying rounds of her favorite card game, mahjong. Her warmth, humor, and dedication to family enriched the lives of all who knew her.
Mildred’s life will be celebrated in a private family gathering. Her legacy of strength, love, and kindness lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
