Nancy Ann Pellicane, age 82 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family and under the caring watch of Hunterdon Hospice.
Born December 23, 1937 in Plainfield, NJ, daughter of the late George Henry Rumph and Mary Elizabeth Chabock Rumph, she was raised in Plainfield, NJ and had lived in South Bound Brook, NJ prior to moving to Readington Township in 1973.
For many years Nancy worked as a clerk for the Hunterdon County Board of Social Services.
Surviving are her beloved husband of sixty-two years, Richard Francis Pellicane, Sr. with whom she joined hands in marriage on October 27, 1957; her son and daughter-in-law, Richard F. Pellicane, Jr. and Kimberly; her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Dennis McKearney; a sister, Doris Zielinski; her grandchildren, Christine & Christopher, Erica & Jay, Timothy, Cole, and Cassidy; her great grandson, Evan; and many dear friends.
A public Mass of Christian Burial is being planned at a later date under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Flemington, NJ. Private immediate family viewing and committal rights by Rev. Matthew Marinelli, followed by entombment at St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ, took place under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
