Norma C. Matsuoka, age 89 years, died peacefully at home in Kingwood Township with family by her side and her favorite flowers, plants and herbs, listening to the sound of the ocean waves.
For this peaceful passage, unhindered by any drugs, monitors, machines, she was grateful for the support and kindness of Hunterdon Hospice Care, the Kingwood Rescue Squad, the Overlook Hospital team, the Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services team, and Bette Ann. She gives a salute to Fellowship Village for the pre-Covid years of outings, activities and friendships with Newly and Zoisa, as well as her doting spouse, Shiro.

Final prayers followed by cremation at the Chapel of Ewing Crematory, Ewing Township, NJ, was private with the immediate family under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ 08822.
Norma’s cremated remains will be scattered in Hawaii, the place of her birth and Kokoro no Furusato, the home of her heart.
