It is with sadness we inform you that Ronald Lee Williams, 75, beloved husband of Carol Bosak Williams died at his Flemington, N.J. home on March 19, 2021, the Feast Day of St. Joseph, patron Saint of the Sick and Dying. Ron was born on January 26, 1946 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Luther Alva Williams and Gerene Lee, a descendent of General Robert E. Lee.
The Family moved to Lancaster, Ohio when Ron was entering High School. He was a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, and Track Team.
He attended Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, where he was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. Ron transferred to Ohio State University, where he and Carol met. Ron majored in Finance and became President of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. Later he attended the Wharton School of Business. His career in business / finance included R.C.A., Sperry Univac, Sperry, and Unisys in Cincinnati, CT, and NJ.
His three sons followed in his footsteps — Ronnie, in IT, Flemington, NJ, Jonathan in Finance for Campbell Soup Co in Syndney Australia, and Cy Jeffrey, Ernst & Young and Bank of America, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ronald Lee, his oldest, provided loving care for his father for many years. Jonathan Bosak Williams resides in Australia with his (Australian) wife Gabrielle, 3 children, Grace (8), Alexander Lee (6) and Harrison Cy (3). Cy Jeffery (CJ), his wife Morgan, and 2 children Zachary (12) and Adilyn (10) live on Lake Norman, NC.
Ron is also survived by nephews, nieces, and family (Gregory and Emily, Abigail and Jarred, Jeffrey, brother-in-law Tom Back, and Sylvia Bosak. Ron’s sister Sue Williams Back proceeded him in death Nov. 2020.
Ron loved Gardening, Chess, Golf, Tennis, Ohio State Football, the Outer Banks, and anything with his 3 amigos: Alan, Phil, and Herman; but most of all his beloved 3 boys and their beautiful families. He will be missed by ALL.
A memorial service will be held when Jonathan and family can join us from Australia.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of NJ.
Cremation at the Chapel of Ewing Crematory, Ewing Township, NJ, was private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
