Scott Allan Brobst, age 61 years, of Three Bridges, NJ, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Bethlehem, PA, surrounded by his loving family after a valiant battle against cancer.
Born in Princeton, NJ, October 24, 1962, son of the late Daniel and Lillian Schlapfer Brobst, Scott was raised in Kendall Park, NJ, and was a 1981 graduate of South Brunswick High School.
Scott was currently a Project Manager for Stanley, Black & Decker, Allentown, PA, where he was adored by his colleagues and customers alike. Scott was extremely talented and excelled in everything he set his mind to; his attention to detail and wit will not soon be forgotten.
It was this humor, along with his kindness and genuine heart, which attracted a young Ms. Dina D’Amico to Scott, and in 1991 they would marry and embark on a truly magnificent journey together. Their union would bring them three children, twin daughters, Haley and Grace, and a son, Frank.
Being a dad was in Scott’s DNA. He was an amazing father who was there for Dina and his children in every way possible. He made sure he was always present to listen and of course offer advice that was usually spot-on! There was nothing his children wanted for, as he did all he could to ensure they had what they needed to follow their dreams.
A nature enthusiast, Scott greatly enjoyed being outdoors and from the mountains to the shore, he was happiest being outside and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed music, especially anything from the 1970’s, watching Sci-fi movies, and rooting for his Dallas Cowboys. His free time was spent renovating his family home, with a deck and an addition to the house being just two “small” projects he masterfully completed.
Though the last three years were rough, Scott never once complained and faced his illness with the same resilience and compassion with which he lived his life. His family, though broken-hearted, are grateful that Scott’s light will shine and illuminate their path until they one day see him again. The lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the genuineness with which he lived life will never fade.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Dina, and children, Haley, Grace, and Frank, are two sisters, Karen Cail and Jill Brobst; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Michele D’Amico and Daniel Erlandson; his nephew and two nieces, Zachary Cail, Saralina D’Amico-Erlandson, and Louisa D’Amico-Erlandson; his cherished canine companions, Truly and Dougal; several extended family members; and many dear friends.
Life celebration services and interment were private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
