Sondra Louise Phillips

Sondra Louise Phillips, of Alexandria Township, NJ, died peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

A longtime resident of Pittstown in Hunterdon County, she was predeceased by her loving parents, Michael and Louise Phillips and her sister, Susan. She is survived by numerous cousins and friends. Sondra was enamored with animals and especially loved her cats,  Ubetz, Joop and Sisser.

Sondra started her career working in a lab at Rutgers University and then relocated and worked several years as a chef at the StockPot restaurant in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Sondra was a fabulous cook! She returned to NJ where she continued to cook, not only creating wonderful meals for friends, but also where she established her own catering business.

She was also very creative artistically and was always working on some craft project or another. Her favorite pastime was crocheting afghans and gifting them.  Sondra also loved Long Beach Island and spent several years living on the island.

Given the current gathering restrictions and pandemic, funeral services and interment will take place privately under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ 08822.
