Stephanie Irene Sepkowski, age 27 years, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.
Born at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ on November 19, 1993, she was the daughter of Carolyn Kush Sepkowski of Asbury, NJ, and the late Brian Sepkowski.
Stephanie was a soul that truly cared for others and she would never judge another human. She battled addiction as a teenager, and was able to fight back and become sober for more than eight years. This insight into addiction only strengthened her resolve to be there for others, in whatever way she was able. She was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and sadly could not over come the grips of the disease which caused her to lose her sobriety. What the disease did not take however, was her genuine loving spirit, which shone through all the adversities that life threw at her over the years.
Enjoying playing video games and Pokemon, Stephanie was a professional dealer at Wind Creek Casino, Bethlehem, PA, and had also formerly worked at Opdyke Lumber and Jimmy’s Hot Dogs, both located in Phillipsburg, NJ.
Though her life sadly ended long before she was able to fully give her light into the world, the world is better because of the love she gave, and the love that remains.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her uncle, Henry “Hank” Kush.
Surviving are her mother and her longtime partner, Carolyn Sepkowski and William Francis; her sister, Samantha Sepkowski; her uncles, Mark and Eric Sepkowski; several extended family members; and many friends.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
