Steven Michael Adams was born Steven Michael Goldberg and raised in the Marine Park section of Brooklyn, NY. A graduate of Brooklyn college where he earned his Bachelors Degree, he became a 2nd LT in the USMC, upon completing OCS. He attained the rank of Captain, at the time of his discharge.
He was predeceased by his father, Jacob Goldberg, his beloved mother, Phyllis Horowitz Goldberg, his sister, Nanette, his niece, Heather, and nephew, Edward.
He leaves behind three sons, Max and his wife, Kerry Adams, Joshua Adams, and Matthew Adams; a daughter Caroline; his two sisters and brother-in-law, Lori and Rene and her husband, Alan; his two treasures in life, his grandchildren, Gage and Gunner; many nieces, nephews, and extended family, all who will miss is quick wit, and funny sense of humor.
For the past nine years, Steve shared a house with his sister, Lori. Lori was his breakfast buddy, and personal nurse. The two had a special bond unlike any other sibling. He also leaves behind his therapy dogs, Rose and Mitzvah, and his favorite cats, Sandy and Felix.
Steven loved watching old Cowboy movies, and wanted to be buried in what he called a cowboy casket. He got his wish. Steve will continue to live on in our hearts and minds.
A special, “Thank You” to St. Lukes Hospice s well as a special thanks to Steve’s favorite nurse, Marcia Campbell, RN, BSN.
