Thomas John Hynes, better known as “T” to his many friends, age 65 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Hunterdon Medical Center after a long illness.
Born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, Tom also spent time growing up in Roselle, NJ and was proud of his Central New Jersey roots. He has lived in Hunterdon County for over forty years.

Tom was always doing something outdoors, and anyone who knew him is probably smiling as they are picturing him right now on his beloved ’62 HD panhead motorcycle, riding down the road, enjoying life. Riding since the age of 15, he was a proud member of the Red Knights International Motorcycle Club.
Making friends wherever her traveled, Tom was also a proud falconer and longtime member of the New Jersey Falconry Club.
Though he had been ill for several years, his love and family and friends had pushed him to continue to live his life to the fullest and his death comes as a shock to many. Tom would not want anyone reading this to spend too much time being sad, but rather to go out and live each day to the fullest, preferably with those they love, an of course, on a motorcycle! He will be greatly missed, and always remembered.
Preceded in death by his father, John (Jack) Hynes and mother, Janet Martinsen Webster, Tom was also preceded in death by his sister, Carol Hynes and his grandparents, Lechi and Lefty Hynes.
