Thomas Robert Beier, 72, passed away peacefully in his home on July 3, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
Tom was born in Buffalo, NY and grew up in Coudersport, PA. While at Bloomsburg University he pledged Beta Sigma Delta Fraternity and was a loyal and lifetime friend to many of the brothers. But he always said the best part of college was meeting the love of his life and favorite travelling companion, Nardina.
Tom worked for Chubb, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, then as an auditor for 27 years until his retirement from the State of New Jersey.
A resident of Hunterdon County since 1976, Tom loved the outdoors and sports. He coached his children’s youth soccer and baseball teams, served as president of the East Amwell Recreation League, enjoyed a good round of golf, and was an active member of the Central Bucks Bike Club, Bicycle & Adventure Club, Sitzmark Ski Club, Breakaway Billiards, and Hunterdon Hiking Club. Tom was proud of his landscaping skills and honored to be a member of the Master Gardener Program. Until his diagnosis with Neuroendocrine Tumor Syndrome (NETs) he was an active and prolific blood donor.
Tom and Nardina enjoyed travelling all over the world. Their love of skiing, hiking, and biking took them to many destinations and they also had many adventures with their children and grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nardina Beier, his son Brett Beier & daughter-in-law Laura Beier, his daughter Marta Block & son-in-law Josh Block. He cherished his five grandchildren: Jacob, Emily, & Sean Beier & Koben & Mary Rose Block. Tom also leaves behind many other beloved family members, including his two sisters, in laws, nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends.
