Tina Marie Irani, age 51 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at University Penn Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, after a long illness.
Tina was born on February 14, 1973, in Philadelphia, PA, to Fred and Barbara (Marchino) Klein. The oldest of four children, Tina always blazed her own path and had a heart of gold. As a child she was an excellent gymnast, and never one to be intimidated, played baseball on a boy’s team. She was the first member of her family to graduate from college, attending East Stroudsburg State University.
At Tina’s core was the need to help others, and she started her career as a social worker despite not earning enough to live comfortably. Struggling under that burden, she eventually transitioned to Human Resources roles at Robert Half Associates and the Dendrite Corporation.
She met the love of her life, Omar, in 2001, and they married in 2005, in Sea Bright, NJ. She retired to become the most amazing and dedicated mother to their two children, Mason and Katherine (Kate). She would often be found on the floor of the family room playing Uno or Monopoly with her family, and dropped everything for them, never asking for anything in return.
Tina loved the beach, cooking, gardening, and enjoyed photography. Her true loves though, were her children and saving animals. She volunteered at Tabby’s Place in Ringoes, NJ, for many years and adopted many pets over time based on a single philosophy: those who nobody else would take. Her kind soul led her to dream of opening an animal shelter.
Tina is survived by husband, Omar, and their children; her parents; her siblings, Michael Klein and Danielle and her husband, Michael Delmonaco; her nieces, Olivia, Zein and Noor, and nephews, Christian, Hamdan and Zayed; several extended family members; and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Klein; maternal grandparents, Rose and Louis Harry Marchino; and paternal grandparents, Catherine and Frederick Jacob Klein.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ to reflect on Tina’s amazing life.
