William Francis Muhs, Jr., age 88 years, of Alexandria Township, NJ, died peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Ciel of Princeton, South Brunswick Township, NJ.
Bill is survived by his wife, Georgia Muhs (nee Wilder), his daughter, Elizabeth Kelly, son-in-law, Randy Kelly, his son, Williams F. Muhs III, and his granddaughters, Maggie Kelly, and Paige Ping Kelly.
Bill had a long, healthy, and mostly happy life. He sold janitorial supplies to distributors in NJ, PA, and NY. In retirement, he became a manufactures representative for several of these companies.
Bill was an accomplished salesperson, earning awards and vacation trips for his prowess at selling a variety of essential cleaning products and equipment.
He loved his work and the benefits of being able to work from his farm, long before the Covid pandemic kept people from their offices.
In his younger days, Bill loved sailing, horse shows, traveling and farming, as well as collecting the tools required for these pursuits.
He helped his children pursue their goals in the Hunterdon County 4-H Beef club.
As his health failed, from Parkinson’s Disease and dementia, he found a new home at Arden Court in Easton, PA. He made friends there and was loved by his care givers for his great sense of humor and gentlemanly manners.
Bill contributed to our community by serving for two, three-year terms on the Delaware Valley High School Board of Education, part of that tenure, as Vice-President.
For Georgia, the greatest gift Bill ever gave her was the loving support of his work so she could stay home with their children on the farm, with all the animals that they loved.
God bless you, Bill. Thank you for your courage for taking the steeper path with the farm and all the challenges that lifestyle presented.
