I remember Billy as a child and young man. I got to know him through his sister, Trudy, who was my best friend and whose house I stayed at a lot as a teenager. Billy's mother called him "Boopy" and so did I. He and his brothers, Kurt and Karl, were mischievous and fun to be around (and so was Trudy). Billy took it in stride when he set off a bomb he made, hurting himself enough to be hospitalized. It was never boring at the Woerner's home especially when Trudy was child-sitting her brothers. My laughing at their antics wasn't much help in calming the boys down and getting them settled for the night. I remember staying overnight and being awakened by the doorbell, only to find out it was their dog, Curly, wanting to come inside. That was a hoot. Billy (or one of the other boys) taught her to ring it. And, I'll always remember the summer vacations at Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. On the long car ride there, the boys taught me to sing with them "Down by the shores of the Hanky Panky where the bull frogs jump from bank to banky" . . . .very funny! Billy dated my sister for a bit and they babysat for my kids. I'll always remember how he made me laugh! He had a calmness about him that made others feel comfortable. He was a sensitive, kind soul who enjoyed the company of others. I know losing his brother Karl affected him greatly. Now he is reunited with him and his parents. Until we meet again, be at peace. Ginny

Billy will always hold a special spot in our hearts. Billy taught Michael & Paige how to fish with a cast net in Lillian when they were little and let Michael shoot for the first time. Those three have lots of great memories made that will never be forgotten. Billy will be greatly missed by us all RIP Billy <3
