Anna Gorski, age 90, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township. She was born on July 31, 1920, in New York City, the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Fandel and lived in the Flemington area most of her life. In the 1940s she worked at Diamond Silver, Lambertville, NJ, Brewster Aircraft, Johnstown, PA, the rubber mill in Flemington and Flemington Fur Company where she met her late husband of 64 years John Gorski who she married on April 20, 1944. She was predeceased by John on April 7, 2008. Anna was a devoted homemaker and her family and friends meant everything to her. She touched the lives of many people with her kindness, caring and unconditional love for everyone around her. Surviving is her son, John R. Gorski of Raritan Township; two brothers, Steve Fandel of Raritan, NJ and Joseph Fandel of Ringoes, NJ; and a sister Vera Petrocelli of Brooklyn, NY. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 10:30 am in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen’s Cemetery in Flemington.
