Claire Cavalier, age 88, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at her home. She was born on December 5, 1917, in East Vineland, NJ the daughter of the late Michael and Josephine (Tocco) Cavalier and lived in East Amwell Township for fifty years prior to relocating to Raritan Township in 2002. She and her late brother Silvio were proprietors of the Pleasant Ridge Farm near Reaville. Claire was known in the area for her activities with animals, horticulture and as an artist. She is survived by her sister, Stella Micheline of Mendon, NY and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 10:30 AM in St. Mary’s Church, East Vineland, NJ under the direction of the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, in East Vineland, NJ.
