James John “Jimmy” Srubjan, age 59 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ.
Born in Doylestown, PA, August 12, 1955, son of the late John A. and Rena Zulauf Srubjan, he had lived in Delaware Township for the past twenty-one years, having formerly lived in Flemington, NJ.
A 1973 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Jimmy worked for over twenty-five years for the Hunterdon County Department of Roads and Bridges.
A wonderful husband, Jimmy and his wife, Maureen McQuilken Srubjan, were like “two peas in a pod.” They had a wonderful marriage of laughs and love and would have been married for twenty-eight years on September 17, 2015.
He had many interests and hobbies, among some of his favorites being camping, gardening, Nascar and grilling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Thomas Srubjan.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Maureen; four siblings and their spouses, Anthony Srubjan of Stockton, NJ, Ann and Ron Cooper of New Hope, PA, Helen Srubjan of Smithfield, NC and Christine and Mike Gares of Frenchtown, NJ; his brother-in-law and wife, Kevin and Christine McQuilken of Flemington, NJ; his aunt, Elizabeth Paris of South Atteboro, MA; his uncle, William Zulauf in Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Arrangements and interment are private under the care of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
