Leda Crandall, age 78, of Flemington, NJ, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at home.
She was born August 9, 1935, the daughter of the late John and Marie Louise Loria, in Livingston, Guatemala, coming to the United States when she was 19 years old, living in Brooklyn, NY, before moving to Flemington, NJ in 1976. She worked for many years at Flemington National Bank, and until her retirement, she was employed at Shop Rite of Flemington. The most important thing to her was being surrounded by her family.
Her husband, Robert Crandall, died in 2005. She is also predeceased by her brother, Fernando Loria. She is survived by two daughters, Joanna Crandall and her wife, Alyson Kozma, of Washington, DC, and Jeanette Crandall and her husband, Matt Woodward, of Flemington, NJ, with whom Leda lived; five grandchildren, Mathew, Gabriella and Isabella Woodward, and Viviana and Nicolas Kozma-Crandall; six brothers, Mariano, Enrique, Joseph, Russell, John Edward and Eric Loria; two sisters, Marta Rosa and Marie Yvonne Quiñonez; and her dear close friend, Annemarie Rzezsowski.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 3:30 p.m. in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, 38 Hwy. 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, March 20, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
