Madeleine Vallat, 89, of Pittstown, NJ, died on Saturday, December 20, 2003 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ. She was born on August 4, 1914 in France, the daughter of the late Jules and Josephine (Lucante) Pemoulie and lived in Queens, NY before moving to Pittstown in 1999. Until her retirement she was a Beautician employed by Danielle’s Salon, New York, NY. Her husband, Maurice Vallat died in 1961. She is survived by her son, Maurice Vallat of Pittstown, NJ and two grandchildren. The funeral will begin on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. from the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ, to celebrate the Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen’s Church, Flemington. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings on Hudson, NY.
