Maida Leberfinger-Joyce, age 80, formerly of Delaware Township, NJ, died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Van Dyke Hospice in Toms River, NJ. She was born on March 10, 1928, in Germany, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Koppel) Kollmer and lived in Delaware Township, NJ for many years before moving to Lanoka Harbor recently. Until her retirement Maida was a Librarian employed by Hunterdon Central High School. She also was the Librarian at Delaware Township School at one time. Her husband Joseph Leberfinger pre-deceased her in 1969. She is survived by her three Daughters, Edna McNamara of Flemington, NJ, Ellen Sutton of Washington State and Lorrie Cooper of Lanoka Harbor, NJ; one brother, Ken Kollmer of Quakertown, PA and four grandchildren, Anne, Meghan, Brandon and Joey. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 9:30 AM in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen s Cemetery in Flemington.
