Mary S. Duckworth, 84, of Flemington, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at the Hunterdon Medical Center. She was born on December 22, 1919 in Passaic, NJ, the daughter of the late Hnat and Catherine (Wytak) Sahaydak and moved to Sand Brook, NJ as a young girl. She was a 1936 graduate of Flemington High School and was a Homemaker. Mary was a member of Grandview Grange, Flemington, V.F.W. Post #7856, Auxiliary, Flemington, Chaplain of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 159, Flemington, and Past President of the Flemington-Raritan Rescue Squad Auxiliary, Flemington. She is survived by her companion of 40 years John Toth of Flemington, NJ; a daughter, Nancy Hann of Englewood, FL; three sons, Theodore Kovi, Joseph Kovi and Ezra Duckworth all of Flemington, NJ; a sister, Stephanie Kerr of Flemington, NJ; a brother, Walter Sahaydak of Slatington, PA; eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Her funeral will begin on Monday, December 29, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. from the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ, to celebrate the Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen’s Church, Flemington.
