Philip S. Villabona

Philip S. Villabona, age 76, of Bridgewater, NJ, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ. He was born on April 4, 1933, in New York, NY, the son of the late Alexander and Dorothy (Jerling) Villabona and lived in Gillette, NJ before moving to Bridgewater in 1973. Until his retirement Philip was an analytical chemist employed in the pharmaceutical industry for many years. He received his master s degree in zoology and was an avid weightlifter and science enthusiast. Surviving are his wife of 47 years Haydee Villabona; two daughters, Ann Armahizer and Emily Kacsmar both of Bridgewater, NJ; three siblings, Lucille Kuntz of Dover, DE, David Villabona of Wyoming, DE and Gregory Villabona of Dover, DE; and six grandchildren, Ashley, Erica, Kelsey, Adam, Amy and Gabriel. Viewing hours will be on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 21 at 11:00 am in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 99 Lamington Road, Branchburg, NJ. Interment and graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 22 at 1:00 pm in Sudlersville Cemetery in Sudlersville, MD.
