Rich was a fine person who had a very gentle spirit and humility about him. Of the times I interacted with him during our CME related conferences we shared many laughs with friends and had some very meaningful conversations. So much so, I know he's truly at peace now. He'll be greatly missed.
To the entire Rich Hill family, I am deeply sorry for the loss of this wonderful man. I had the opportunity to meet and become friends with Rich in Pharmacy School at Rutgers' and found him to be one of the most caring, honest, genuine and kind persons I have ever met. I had the opportunity to speak to Rich about 10 days before he passed away and my memory of him and my last conversation with him will forever live in my heart. He was always so positive and even until the end he showed so much optimism, excitement and love for his family especially his beloved daughters. God Bless you all.

I had the pleasure of knowing Rich for about 15 years and we worked closely together for many of those years. I will remember Rich as a kind and wonderful person with a big heart and smile. I will sorely miss him. My deepest sympathy to his family, especially all of his girls, including Jen. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the sound of beautiful music.
I am sorry to hear of Richard's passing. He and I played clarinet together when we were in high school. I was very happy to hear of his work in the medical field with cancer meds. Our lives were enriched by the musicianship and friendship of Rich Hill. When he played clarinet or saxophone with the Blawenburg Band, he inspired us musically. When he conducted the band, he brought out the very best in us. When he talked with us individually and as a group, he showered us with his caring praise and his eternally positive outlook on life. We will never forget his quiet enthusiasm, his warm smile and his dedication to reach his potential. The Richard Hill, Jr. Blawenburg Band Scholarship will benefit countless future musicians in so many ways. A mutual friend said, We visit, We dance, We sail away! Rich danced so very well.
