Robert H. Glahn, age 99, of Lebanon, NJ. died Monday, December 24, 2007, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on May 19, 1908, in Elmhurst, IL the son of the late Alvin and Gladys (Healy) Glahn and lived in New Providence, NJ before moving to Clinton Township in 1993. Until his retirement in 1973 Mr. Glahn was employed by AT&T in New York City as a Cost Service Engineer. He Served in the US Navy during World War II and attended the University of Michigan and Crane Junior College. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Veterans Of Foreign Wars, New Providence, NJ. His wife Marguerite Glahn pre-deceased him in 1998. He is survived by his son, Richard Glahn and his wife Cindy of Lebanon, NJ and three grandchildren, Jonathan, David and Sarah Glahn. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 4 2008 at 10:00 AM in the Spruce Run Evangelical Lutheran Church, 442 West Hill Road, Glen Gardner, NJ 08826.
