Wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Virginia E. Wolven, 75 of Flemington, NJ died Tuesday, June 17, 2008. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ on September 16, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Viola Clees. She grew up in Middlesex, NJ, met and married her husband Howard 57 years ago. She lived in Cumming, Georgia before moving to Flemington in 1996. She worked as a secretary for Mack Trucks and retired as a paralegal from Amoco Oil, Cumming, GA in 1996. She was an accomplished artist and a master ceramic painter. She also enjoyed cross stitch, quilting and gardening. Virginia was an active member of the Flemington American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and served as the Auxiliary Chaplin. She is survived by her husband Howard; daughters Beth Tocci and partner Jack George of Toms River, NJ, JoAnne Maggio and her husband George of North Augusta, SC; Sons Richard and his wife Nance of Flemington, NJ, Mark and his wife Marie of Alexandria, VA. She was a beloved grandmother to Jeanette Wolven, Vanessa Verdic and Melissa Hambrick, Ryan and Alex Wolven. Virginia was pre-deceased by her granddaughter, Amanda Rose. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 8:00pm in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, 38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
