Alice and I met when we were in training with TWA in Kansas City. We chose Newark as our home base and became good friends. We worked my last flight together in 1965. She was my Maid of Honor in May of that year when I married Ed Johnson. We managed to keep in touch through her career with TWA, her marriage and the birth of her children but over time lost that connection.
I have many fond memories...too many to list here but always remembered. A classy and caring lady that I am happy to call my friend.
ABC, I still have "that look" that kept me in the galley from time-to-time.

My deepest condolences on Alice's passing, to the whole family. We were roommates all the years she was at Wesleyan. She was a loyal and fun friend, but always level-headed. I learned a lot from her. I remember we would put on our Sunday hats and our white or black (depending on the season) kidskin gloves, and walk to the tiny Episcopal church in "downtown" Buckhannion. I hope remembering all the happy memories brings you comfort now and ongoing.
